“ExpAct – Experience keep people Active” is to develop a software framework that allows easy creation and operation (customization) of web-based platforms to support the preservation and transfer of older people’s experience for the benefit of future generations.
The project aims at facilitating the preservation and transfer of older people’s experience and know-how for the benefit of future generations. New Internet platforms aim to tap this valuable potential and make it accessible again to society.
Older people stay engaged in social activities that support healthy and active ageing. ExpAct provides online and offline services to enable the 50+ generation to share their expertise and stay engaged in society. This experience can be of great benefit to profit or non-profit organizations, associations and even private individuals.
To successfully match those who offer experience with those who demand it, an innovative online platform will be established. Four pilot applications are tested in Hungary, Austria, Italy and Switzerland.
